South Forest Beach
Located on the southside of Hilton Head Island, South Forest Beach is the other plantation that sits pretty in the larger Forest Beach area.
South Forest Beach plantation is among some of the oldest beach communities found in Hilton Head Island.
Unlike other communities found in Hilton Head Island, South Beach Forest and North Beach Forest – both of which make up the Forest Beach plantation – is one of the largest non-gated plantations found on the famous island.
Coligny Beach – which divides the two plantations – is a popular destination for vacation for most people who desire a place to call home while away from home.
The plantation has a mix of oceanfront luxury homes, beach houses as well as modern low country manor style homes. While most single-family homes are found in the North Forest Beach area, the South Forest Beach mainly comprise of villas and condos.
