At the South end of Hilton Head Island, sits Shipyard Plantation. A community that sits on an 800-acre piece of land and has convenient access to beaches, restaurants, shops, and entertainment.
The Shipyard Plantation has 2,000 homes and villas and features wooded lots, golf and lagoon view with other properties found along a trivial strip of beach. Unlike homes found in other plantations in Hilton Head Island, homes in Shipyard Plantation occupy larger lots.
The plantation also has more villas and condos than single-family homes. The plantation features the Van der Meer Tennis Center that’s been ranked as one of the 50 best tennis resorts in the United States by Tennis Magazine as well as 27 holes of golf.
Besides these two amenities, there are miles of biking trails, leisure trails, a Beach Club and the Sonesta Resort and Spa. As a buyer, you can choose between vacation homes, primary residences as well as rental/investment villas.
The plantation is burrowed in the area’s scenic natural landscape coupled with a prime beachfront real estate. It is also located in the middle of Hilton Head Island’s two other plantations – Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes.
The large homes are located on generous lots with diverse floor plans. The neighborhood is also small and has tennis courts as well as private pools. The Shipyard Plantation’s location is spot on as there are amazing dining and shopping opportunities available right outside each gate.
